Mountain View Electric Ltd. is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Based in Enderby, the Electrician will perform quality installations and services for our valued clients on site while showcasing exceptional customer service skills.

Position Summary:
Mountain View Electric Ltd. is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Based in Enderby, the Electrician will perform quality installations and services for our valued clients on site while showcasing exceptional customer service skills.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyze and solve problems with various electrical controls and systems.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance & repair techniques.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts & installation and/or service teams.
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
  • Maintain a clean and well-kept uniform and truck.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Required to be available to work on-call, at least two weekends per year, as part of the company’s on call program (after a set training duration)

Required Competencies

  • Commercial & residential experience.
  • Adept in performing electrical installations, maintenance and repairs in homes, commercial & agricultural facilities.
  • Knowledgeable in all areas of the national electrical code.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and use common repair tools & techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organization & customer relationship skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract.
  • Will require applicant to speak and understand English

Experience: Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (Preferred)
